🇫🇷Après un mois sans toucher un vélo, oui, un vrai sevrage, et après avoir traversé le pays de la côte ouest à la côte est, en faisant du stop de Belén à La Rioja, puis du bus de La Rioja à Córdoba, où nous avons héroïquement réussi à nous reposer une semaine entière, exploit rare, avant de reprendre un bus de Córdoba à Buenos Aires, et d’y rester trois longues semaines pour survivre aux fêtes de fin d’année, nous reprenons enfin la route. Direction l’Uruguay, en ferry avec la mythique compagnie Colonia Express, 70 000 chacun, vélo inclus, parce que nos vélos voyagent clairement en première classe. Arrivée à 19h30 à Colonia, timing parfait pour camper sur la playa El Calabrés. Le bonheur absolu, retrouver la nature, le silence, le sable, et surtout dormir à nouveau à la belle étoile, avec cette sensation magique de se dire, ça y est, l’aventure recommence vraiment.

🇬🇧 After one full month without riding a bike, yes, a real withdrawal, and after crossing the country from the west coast to the east coast, hitchhiking from Belén to La Rioja, then taking the bus from La Rioja to Córdoba, where we heroically managed to rest for an entire week, a rare achievement, before hopping back on a bus from Córdoba to Buenos Aires, and spending three long weeks surviving the end of year holidays, we finally hit the road again. Destination Uruguay, by ferry with the legendary Colonia Express company, 70,000 each, bike included, because clearly our bikes travel first class. Arrival at 7:30 pm in Colonia, perfect timing to camp on Playa El Calabrés. Pure happiness, reconnecting with nature, silence, sand, and most importantly, sleeping under the stars again, with that magical feeling that says, that’s it, the adventure is truly back.
